Its about 90 mins or so from London to the wood. I have put some local post-codes for your Sat Nav on 'Directions to the wood', together with a Google map link. If you use a paper map (really? Still?) the head to Goudhurst and from there to Sissinghurst and its on your left, first cross roads past the Peacock inn.
Parking is difficult in that there isnt any. But you can park on the roads all around the wood. Some are more suitable than others and I have tried to mark this on the Google map.
